Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
3 ounces sugar
3 ounces brown sugar
4 ounces unsalted butter, at room temp.
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
7 ounces bread flour
3⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
8 ounces dark milk chocolate, chopped very large
4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat an oven to 350°F.
2. Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes in a stand mixer with the
paddle attachment at medium.
3. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until completely blended in, about 1 minute at medium.
4. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix until a dough forms, about 1 minute on low.
5. Add the chocolate and mix until the chips are evenly distributed, about 1 minutes on low.
6. Spoon very large dough blobs onto a lined baking sheet, about 6 per sheet.
7. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes.
8. Let cool on the baking sheets five minutes before moving to a cooling wrack to cool completely.
