Cookbook author, pastry cook, and food-obsessed nerd turned digital media content creator.

Russell began Chasing Delicious in 2010 to explore his love of pastry and to challenge his skills in the kitchen. In four short years he published his first cookbook, Haute Dogs (Quirk Books, 2014) as author and photographer. Shortly after, he released his second, Making Dough (Quirk Books, 2015).

Spending 2015-2019 in pastry kitchens, Russell honed his knowledge and love for all things baking. Today, he is a professional photographer, filmmaker, and writer focusing on digital media content creation.

His work has been featured in Southern Living, Men’s Fitness, Redbook, TRADhome, Real Simple, and Houstonia magazines and on various websites including Lifehacker, Fast Co., Business Insider, The Kitchn, Live Originally, Quipsologies, Explore, Giada Weekly, and Fine Cooking.
